The Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust are holding their annual Continence and Stoma Patient Awareness Day on Friday 6th September 2024 at, The Bridge Community Church, Rider Street, Leeds, LS9 7BQ 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. Everyone is welcome and there will be company exhibitions, refreshments and presentations for patients throughout the day.
On the day they will also be joined by Gill Castle. Gill is the first person to swim the English Channel in just under 14hrs solo with a stoma. Gill would like to share her inspirational journey with us all where she will be speaking about her journey in two 30-minute sessions during the day.
