We are very excited to announce that we will hold a Zoom meeting on Saturday 12^th June at 1.30pm.  We have secured some excellent speakers and are pleased to be able to offer an opportunity for our members to come together.  We are keeping everything crossed that either later in the year or early next year we will resume to having face to face meetings, but for now, we really hope you can join us virtually by Zoom.

If you would like to attend, please email Emma on [email protected], or call/text her on 07815 579205 to register your interest or if you have any questions*. Emma will then send you a link via email to the Zoom meeting a few days before the 12^th June which you can use to join on the day.

We have 3 specialists signed up to give talks including 2 stoma care nurses who will cover ‘Preventing leaks and managing sore skin’ and the other will give a talk on ‘Preventing and managing hernias’.  We also have Helen Davis who is a dietician, and she will give a talk on ‘Managing Diet with an ileostomy’.  Each talk will be followed with a question and answer session.

You can join the meeting at any time after 1.15pm when the Zoom room opens.  The meeting will start promptly at 1.30pm and Sarah Minto will provide a short update on the West Yorkshire IA group, what we have been up to, financial information etc.  We will then have the talks and the meeting will finish at 3pm.  We will also have a short comfort break in the middle.

* Your email address will be stored in a secure email database only accessible by the IA committee member you contact. Your personal details will not be shared with any third parties nor used for any purposes other than to invite you to the Zoom meeting described above. They will be deleted after the event, or you may request to have them deleted before the Zoom meeting if you no longer wish to attend.
